My daughter Ally and me with Ronny. It was in San Francisco on 05 Nov 1997
at a club called "Slims." My daughter and I were very excited to see the show
and have "in-person" conversations with Ronny and meeting the newest band
members. What is the most special
memory of this night was watching how much it affected my daughter. She
was stunned with excitement and I had to pretend my knees weren't giving
out as well. Clan of Xymox was always my favourite band since Ally was
barely walking. It hit her one day, while she was in my room that the
music she had grown up with, all of these haunting dramatic melodies had
ALL been Ronny and his band.
She started crying and I remember her saying to me through her tears of recognition "this is who you've been talking about all this time?
" I love this song, Mom I LOVE all these songs so much!" A few weeks later, we got word they would have a show in SF,
so Ally and I were able to spend the experience together. That night in San Francisco, will always remind my daughter and I of our closeness
to each other, our common tastes in almost everything, especially the music that is the most magical to us both; Ronny Moorings and Clan of Xymox.
